Fire Update - November 14th, 2011
Thankfully, we are now able to accept seasonally-appropriate adult clothing that is clean and in good repair. Men's items are needed most. NO BABY CLOTHES, PLEASE...At this time we cannot accept baby clothes or other items for our transitional shelter since our mothers and babies have not returned to 200 4th Avenue.
NO DONATIONS CAN BE ACCEPTED UNTIL MONDAY, NOVEMBER 21 AT 8 AM.
CHIPS MEANS CLOTHING...
That old coat hanging in your wardrobe is wasting valuable storage space. Why not drop it off at CHIPS so it can be used by someone in need?

You can help the clothing drive in two ways, by dropping off clothes at the address below or volunteering your time in sorting, hanging and arranging the clothes items that are donated.

Got some clothes to donate? We accept clothes Monday through Friday from 8 A.M. to 2 P.M. except during the weeks of Thanksgiving and Christmas. Our drop off center is located at: 200 Fourth Avenue, Brooklyn between Sackett st. and Degraw. Only bring clothes for the season. ( No shorts in winter, please!) We always need the following for Men and Women: jeans, pants, shirts, coats, sweaters, sneakers, boots and practical shoes.

CHIPS is not just clothing for the poor, it's food for those who are hungry...

and shelter for homeless mothers and their children.
